Call for Proposals

The XII Piracicaba International Piano Festival (EIPP) invites international proposals from educators, researchers, performers and leaders in the field, as well as proposals from young professionals and students to share their knowledge with our community. Presentations in English, Portuguese and Spanish will be accepted.


For this hybrid edition of the EIPP we will have two different options for presentations and performances:

  • Live session in Piracicaba, Brazil

  • Live online session (through Zoom)


Formats and Durations of Sessions

  • Performance — 25 or 50 minutes

  • Lecture — 50 minutes

  • Workshop — 50 minutes

  • Lecture Recital — 25 or 50 minutes

  • Studio Showcase* — 50 minutes


*Studio Showcase: session demonstrating the work of a teacher and their students through student performance, mini-lecture, and/or teaching demonstration.


Proposal Requirements

  • Exact title of the proposed session as it would appear on the program.

  • Format and duration of the proposed session.

  • Exact name and short biography (35–50 words) of each presenter(s) as they would appear on the program.

  • A session summary of no more than 350 words.

  • The session description must not exceed 75 words for the festival program booklet.

  • For pianists proposing recitals, please attach the program in the following format. Download the template at: https://eipianopira.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Template-Recital-Program-1.docx

  • Digital photo(s) of presenter(s) suitable for the program. Color photo preference of each presenter.

  • For proposals for recitals and lecture-recitals, preferably a full video recording (YouTube link) of the program to be presented. We will accept proposals with partial videos of the program to be proposed.

  • Current resume or CV of each presenter.


Proposal deadline: Monday, June 25, 2026 at 11:59 pm (Brasília time)


Policies and Procedures

  • Prior to the submission of proposal, applicants must communicate with all co-presenters about their interest and availability.

  • All applicants whose work is selected are expected to register and participate in EIPIANOPIRA 2026. Selected clinicians and performers will receive a discounted registration fee of 20%.

  • For in-person lectures, the EIPIANOPIRA will offer the necessary equipment for the presentation (microphone, cameras, projector, etc.).

  • Selected clinicians will be contacted by our staff by June 30th by email.

  • We recommend that applicants indicate in the proposal form the days available for their presentation at EIPIANOPIRA.
